Associate Safety Director

Hobson Prior are currently seeking for an Associate Safety Director to join a brilliant pharmaceutical corporation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on providing life-changing, novel remedies across a variety of illnesses.

Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will assume responsibility for specialised roles with PCS.
• For this role, you will be accountable for individual and aggregate case reporting actions, which involves ICSR case management such as medical evaluation. And aggregate reporting, such as DSUR, PBRER, etc.
• Handle safety tasks on study teams and in actions assisting safety science on an independent basis.
• Partake in the development of the product safety method and offer drug safety contributions to the clinical development method.
• When suitable, you will contribute to and offer contributions for drug monitoring committees or internal monitoring committee meetings.
• The ideal candidate will write and partake in scientific publications for scientific meetings/journals, such as abstracts, posters, papers, etc.
• Any other assigned duties.

Key Skills:

• Presentation capabilities.
• Able to work well in a team environment cross-functionally.
• Capable of efficiently working with remote associates on an international team.
• Communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Requirements:

• Educated to a degree level in a life science discipline or a qualified healthcare professional.
• Comprehension of GxP and regulated procedures as well as end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle.
• Focus on process improvement.
• Ability to implement multifaceted data analysis / statistical strategies to review, comprehend and display scientific data in a clear and concise manner.
• Capable of efficiently training others on divisional practices and procedures.
• Able to implement project management tactics.
