California Local Travel Writer for a Travel Blog (Project-Based)

Full time (Contract), about 3-4 months

Rate: $0.06 per word for an average of 45,000 words per month

Hey there!

Are you a California local who loves to travel and share your adventures with others? Do you have a passion for writing and a wealth of knowledge about the State? If so, we want you to join our team as a Local Writer for our travel blog Miss Tourist!

We’re a travel blog looking for someone who has lived in California for a long time, knows all the ins and outs of the state, and loves to share tips and recommendations with others. This is a project-based position that will last for approximately 3-4 months, during which time you’ll be responsible for creating engaging and informative content about the best beaches and theme parks, to outdoor adventures and hidden gems and other interesting things to do!

We’re looking for someone who has a knack for writing engaging and informative content, as well as a love for exploring new places and trying new things. Experience living in California and traveling throughout the state is a must, as is experience being a writer before.

Compensation

The rate is negotiable, You will be on a service provider contract and be paid monthly per word published upon invoice submission. We pay directly into your account on the first working day of each month.
