About My Perfect Pool
My Perfect Pool is a 10 year old website and authoritative resource to learn about swimming pool and hot tub maintenance (for the average home pool/hot tub owner). We cover the best practices of buying pool equipment and accessories, how to guides to fix pool & hot tub problems,  as well as reviews of popular pool and hot tub products and brands.

Our Goal
Our goal is to provide practical, actionable, and informative advice to make it easy for people to maintain their pool and hot tub and make sound buying decisions of related equipment and accessories.

There’s a lot of bad information filled with biased opinions and rehashed advice.  Our aim is to provide valuable, well-researched swimming pool and hot tub information.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking to hire another writer who can regularly contribute a minimum of three (3) 1200-1700 word posts per week.

This position will start as project-based, with room to grow into a more full-time relationship.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Understands how to do thorough research on subject matter
• Can handle critical feedback and adjust accordingly
• Owns/has owned a swimming pool and/or hot tub OR has worked in the swimming pool/hot tub industry

Compensation
Our budget is around $225 per week for (4) 1200 – 1700 word articles but is negotiable (depends on experience).

Do you need to have hands on experience with swimming pools and/or hot tubs?

Yes, it is required that you have owned a pool/hot tub for a few years OR have worked in the pool/hot tub industry.
You should understand swimming pools and/or hot tub maintenance backwards and forwards and be able to communicate your knowledge clearly and concisely for the average reader.
