Product Reviewer – Parenting and Child Development Niche

We’re looking for an experienced writer to create regular well-written product reviews for a parenting blog.

About the business

Premium Joy is a parenting blog that offers super useful information related to child development and educational toys. The topics covered in our blog include children’s puzzles, play, toy shopping and more.

Job Role

You will be primarily responsible for writing one product review for the blog per month. Each article will probably be in the range of 1000-2000 words. The content needs to be optimized for search engines but written primarily for the online user.

The product that you review will be mainly an online program related to child development such as a home schooling program or child reading program. In the future, you may be asked to write reviews about kid’s toys.

Following are the main requirements for the articles:

• Conversational and engaging tone
• Original and unique content
• No grammar/spelling errors
• Free of generic and fluffy content (every word counts)
• Formatted properly for the web (e.g. headings and short paragraphs)
• SEO optimized (mainly for Google traffic)

Writer Qualifications

Following are the required qualifications of writers to be considered for the job:

• Fluent English speaker
• Parent of a little child (under 12 years old)
• Good experience with writing reviews on children’s products

Other things that will boost your chances of being selected (though they’re not required):

• Experience in a job that deals with children (e.g. teacher or nurse)
• College degree in something that’s related to child development (e.g. education or psychology)
